Kaspersky Anti-Virus & Internet Security 2009 8.0.0.429 - Beta è, a mio parere, la miglior suite Antivirus + Firewall (solo per la internet security) che ci sia in circolazione. La versione 7 si è dimostrata la migliore dell’anno 2007/2008 e questa nuova versione 8 si spera che eriditi tutti gli obiettivi centrati dalla versione precedente e ne aggiunga di nuovi. Permette di liberarvi da virus, Internet worms, email worms, Trojans e altro malware. Inoltre vi permette di bloccare attacchi esterni tramite il suo potente firewall, utilizzabile in modalità semplice o in modalità avanzata per utenti più esperti.
Qui alcune caratteristiche:
1) System watch. System watcher (all-in-one system for registering events).
- HIPS (host intrusion prevention system - proactive defense, which is based on limiting application actions on a system)
- PDM (system of proactive defense, which is based on application behavior analysis for malicious/suspicious activities)
- Firewall (personal protection screen)
2) Malware protection
- Protection of files and memory (File-Antivirus)
- Protection of email and IM (Mail-Antivirus)
- Protection of WEB (Web-Antivirus)
3) Online Security
- Protection from Phishing (Anti-Phishing)
- Protection against network attacks (IDS)

- Spam Filtering (Anti-Spam)
- Banner Filtering (Anti-Banner)
